Rooibos is a broom-like member of the Fabaceae family
of plants growing Western Cape South Africa.
Green
rooibos is caffeine-free. It is dried right after harvesting and remains
unfermented. Green rooibos contains significantly higher levels of
antioxidants, flavonoids, and aspalathin compared to regular rooibos. It serves
as a great immune booster and naturally aids digestion. When applied topically,
it soothes sensitive or problem skin.
Taste:
lighter, less earthy with sweetness notes.
Brewing Guide: Use 1-2 teaspoon of tea
to a cup (250ml) of boiling water. Steep it for 5 mins. Suitable for multiple
infusions. Sever well hot or cold.
